Job Description

Description :

The API Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable RESTful APIs to support system integration, particularly in DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) or financial platforms. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs that ensure seamless communication between systems while adhering to industry-standard security protocols.

Skills/Requirements :

Minimum 5 years of experience in API development.
Strong proficiency in building RESTful APIs using technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or similar.
Experience with DBT or financial platforms and understanding of their integration requirements.
In-depth knowledge of API security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and HTTPS.
Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualification:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API gateways.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Fluency in English and Hindi (Speaking, reading & writing).
Fluency in Assamese preferable.

Responsibilities:

Database Strategy & Architecture

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for system integration.
Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
Implement and maintain API security standards such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.
Troubleshoot and debug API-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API development and security.
