About the Role

At ACER Credit Rating, we are dedicated to providing transparent, independent, and timely credit ratings and research that empower investors and support market efficiency. We serve a diverse range of clients across sectors, delivering insightful analysis and high-quality ratings that shape informed financial decisions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Credit Ratings team. The successful candidate will support senior analysts in evaluating the creditworthiness of issuers and debt instruments across various sectors. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to build a career in credit analysis and financial research within a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other financial information to assess creditworthiness.
  • Assist in conducting credit and financial analysis on companies, projects, or financial instruments.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of credit scoring models, policies, and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of credit evaluations
  • Gather and validate Financial and Non-financial data from various sources.
  • Prepare and conduct ratio analysis under supervision.
  • Draft analytical summaries, rating rationales, and internal reports.
  • Participate in issuer meetings, due diligence calls, and rating committees as needed.
  • Monitor news, financial statements, and market developments relevant to assigned accounts.
  • Support the maintenance and updating of databases and analytical tools.
  • Work closely with senior analysts to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of ratings and reports.


Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 
  • MBA (Finance) preferred
  • Proficient in using financial software applications and tools, including spreadsheets and financial modelling software
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meticulously review and verify information
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic, early-stage environment
