Description
As an Analyst 2 in Asset Management at J.C. Penney Company, Inc. in Bangalore, you will be part of the Technology Operations and Support organization within the IT Service Management team. Your main responsibilities will revolve around ensuring IT asset compliance, monitoring software licenses, and addressing service requests promptly. You will be expected to provide on-call support during off hours and weekends, monitor software licenses to maintain compliance with agreements and standards, and ensure audit compliance for IT assets. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring service requests and work orders to ensure timely resolution. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possess equivalent work experience. With at least 3 years of experience in information technology, specifically in ITSM - Asset Management, you should have a strong understanding of ITSM tools like Remedy or ServiceNow, Asset Management software such as Flexera and FlexNet, SCCM, and software license management. Your role will also involve managing operations data reporting, overseeing hardware asset management, and coordinating asset control processes. You will be required to develop and execute asset management policies, procedures, and processes, as well as collaborate with management to define cost savings, asset compliances, and service improvements. Moreover, you will play a key role in inventory management, procurement, shipment activities, contract negotiation, vendor management, and IT asset budget preparation and management. Your expertise in overseeing recruitment, training, and performance appraisals for associates, as well as educating them about company policies, will be essential in this position.
