About the Role:

Metabu Cosmetics is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Marketplace Manager to take full charge of our Amazon and Shopify platforms. If you live and breathe online sales, thrive on data and performance metrics, and are passionate about beauty and cosmetics — we want you on our team.

You’ll manage our end-to-end eCommerce operations and help turn our beauty products into category bestsellers.

Key Responsibilities:

Amazon Seller Central Management:

Oversee day-to-day Amazon operations: inventory, orders, returns, account health, and compliance.

Manage listings with SEO-rich content, A+ visuals, and keyword optimization.

Execute PPC campaigns, Lightning Deals, and promotions to boost rankings and conversions.

Shopify Store Management:

Manage and maintain the Shopify storefront — including catalog updates, product bundling, cross-sells, pricing, and theme optimization.

Ensure seamless order flow, payment gateway integrations, and third-party app connections.

Implement seasonal sales, homepage changes, banners, and landing pages.

Analytics & Growth:

Track and analyze sales, ad performance, customer behavior, and product trends.

Use insights to drive growth strategies across both marketplaces.

Inventory & Logistics:

Coordinate inventory across Amazon FBA/FBM and Shopify.

Forecast demand, avoid stockouts/overstocking, and sync with packaging and warehouse teams.

Advertising & Campaigns:

Launch and optimize Amazon ads (PPC, DSP) and Shopify retargeting strategies.

Work with creatives to design banners, product visuals, and promotional content.

Innovation & Strategy:

Bring new growth ideas — whether through influencer bundles, subscription models, or seasonal product drops.

Maintain high standards for reviews/ratings and brand reputation.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience managing Amazon and/or Shopify platforms (Beauty or Cosmetics domain preferred).

Deep expertise in Amazon Seller Central, SEO, PPC, ASIN tracking, and listing optimization.

Proven Shopify management experience including store operations, apps, and customer journey improvement.

Strong analytical skills using tools like Brand Analytics, Helium 10, or GA4.

Knowledge of FBA/FBM workflows, third-party logistics, and warehousing systems.

Proactive, data-driven, creative, and independent operator.

Bonus If You Have:

Experience with tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Amazon Brand Analytics, and Shopify apps like Klaviyo, ReConvert, etc.

Exposure to Flipkart, Nykaa, or Purplle marketplace operations.

Ability to contribute to visual content, packaging ideas, or product launch campaigns.
