Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager – International Sales and Marketing

Location: Delhi

Reporting To: AGM – International Sales

Job Purpose:

To drive international sales growth for Aska Equipments by identifying and onboarding new dealers in the GCC and Africa regions, building strong relationships with overseas government stakeholders, and representing the company at key global industry conferences and events.

Key Responsibilities:

International Sales – GCC & Africa and other Territories

  • Identify, engage, and onboard dealers/distributors in target international markets.
  • Build a sustainable sales pipeline for lighting towers and other equipment through market research and cold outreach.
  • Drive sales closures, negotiations, and coordination with internal teams for pricing, logistics, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor dealer performance and provide necessary training, marketing support, and product guidance.
  • Track competitor activity and share market intelligence with senior management.

Government Sales (International)

  • Engage with government departments, ministries, and public sector bodies in selected African/Gulf countries for tender-based or direct sales.
  • Monitor and participate in tender opportunities relevant to equipment sales.
  • Build a strong government liaison network to position Aska products in institutional projects.

Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Plan and participate in international exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry conferences relevant to emergency lighting, disaster management, and industrial equipment.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop region-specific marketing collaterals.
  • Promote the Aska brand in overseas markets through, industry platforms, and PR efforts


Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, dealer interactions, and sales progress using CRM tools.
  • Prepare regular market reports and travel plans.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Education:

    Graduate in Engineering or Business; MBA in International Business or Marketing preferred.
  • Experience:

    3–6 years in international sales, preferably in capital goods, equipment, or industrial B2B sales.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with go getter attitude
  • Experience in making the dealer distributor channel in overseas countries
  • Experience dealing with dealers and government buyers
  • Exposure to international travel and cultural sensitivities
  • Familiarity with government sales processes and tendering
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Africa, GCC, and within India

Travel Requirement: Frequent international and domestic travel required
