Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Alteryx Data Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on expertise in Alteryx, SQL, and data engineering practices. The role involves managing Japan DTI dashboard operations, ensuring data quality, and supporting DevOps processes while collaborating with global and local teams. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, reliable, and automated data workflows that support business reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Analysis
- Perform data analysis, data enhancement, and preparation for Japan DTI dashboards and reports.
- Manage locally maintained data assets, including dashboards, reports, ETL workflows, data interfaces with local third parties, and local tables/views.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather inputs on master products, product mapping, conversion factors, and market baskets to resolve data quality issues.
DevOps & Operations Support
- Support Japan requirement intake into GDnA sprints and track delivery progress.
- Provide technical expertise on Japan data and business processes during delivery acceptance.
- Automate recurring operational tasks and data processes to improve efficiency.
- Monitor data pipelines between GDnA and business teams for continuity and correctness.
Data Quality & Issue Resolution
- Maintain data quality (DQ), accuracy, and completeness for all Japan dashboards and reports.
- Investigate customer-related data issues arising from Veeva or reporting layers and communicate findings to the GDnA team.
- Collaborate closely with data governance, analytics, and IT teams to ensure reliable reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong expertise in Alteryx and SQL.
- Proven experience in dashboard operations, ETL workflows, and data pipeline monitoring.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, and data accuracy frameworks.
- Experience supporting DevOps workflows, sprint cycles, and analytics delivery.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with multi-functional teams and business users.
- Knowledge of Japan data/business processes (preferred).
