About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer – Data Science with strong expertise in simulation, algorithm development, and advanced engineering principles to support new product development initiatives. The role requires a unique combination of data science, mechanical engineering, and computational modeling skills, with hands-on experience in simulation tools (Abaqus, Ansys, CAMSOL), sensor integration, and fluid/thermal dynamics.

This individual will play a key role in designing, modeling, validating, and optimizing innovative solutions, while also contributing to the development of proprietary algorithms for real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive

  data-driven modeling and simulation

  for product design and validation using

  Abaqus, Ansys, and CAMSOL

  .
• Develop and implement

  algorithms for sensor data processing, predictive modeling, and performance optimization

  .
• Perform

  multiphysics simulations

  including

  thermodynamics and fluid dynamics

  to support R&D projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Data Science) to integrate

  sensors and predictive algorithms

  into product prototypes.
• Drive

  new product development

  by applying

  data science techniques

  and

  engineering simulation tools

  to accelerate design cycles.
• Utilize

  C# programming

  to develop custom tools, automation scripts, and interfaces for simulation and data processing.
• Research emerging technologies, methods, and tools to enhance

  product innovation

  and maintain a

  competitive edge

  .
• Prepare technical reports, present findings, and provide recommendations for design improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building internal expertise in simulation-driven design and applied data science.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in

  Abaqus, Ansys, and CAMSOL

  for advanced engineering simulations.
• Strong understanding of

  thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  sensor data acquisition and integration

  .
• Expertise in

  algorithm development

  for predictive modeling, optimization, and data analytics.
• Strong programming skills in

  C# (preferred), Python, or MATLAB

  .
• Experience in

  R&D projects and new product development

  within engineering or manufacturing domains.
• Ability to translate complex data and simulations into actionable design insights.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovation mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline

  (PhD preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in

  engineering simulation, data-driven design, and R&D

  .
• Proven track record of delivering projects involving

  simulation, sensors, and algorithm development

  .
• Industry background in

  automotive, aerospace, energy systems, or high-tech product development

  is desirable.
