Job Summary:

The Air Ticketing Executive is responsible for booking, issuing, and managing flight reservations for both domestic and international travel. The role demands excellent customer service, attention to detail, and proficiency in airline reservation systems to ensure a seamless travel experience for passengers.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Book and issue flight tickets using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus.  
  • Manage flight reservations, itinerary changes, cancellations, and reissueance, issueance as per customer requirements.  
  • Provide accurate information on flight schedules, fares, policies, and special services (meals, seating, etc.).  
  • Respond to customer queries through calls, emails, or in-person regarding travel arrangements and ticketing issues.  
  • Ensure compliance with airline policies and industry regulations, including data entry and documentation.  
  • Handle payment transactions and provide necessary travel documents to customers.  
  • Maintain records of all bookings, transactions, and customer profiles for the audit and reporting.  
  • Coordinate with airlines and travel partners for seat confirmations, schedule changes, and special requests.  
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and managing emergency travel disruptions.  
  • Stay updated on airline policies, travel advisories, and promotional offers.  

 


Requirements

  • Graduation/Masters in Travel & Tourism
  • Prior experience in airline ticketing or travel agency (freshers may be considered).  
  • Knowledge of GDS/CRS systems (Amadeus) is preferred.  
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ticketing software.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.  
  • High attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and under pressure.  
  • Basic mathematical and typing skills.
