AGM/DGM - Operations (Pre-cured Tread Rubber - Chennai)

Role & responsibilities

• To effectively & efficiently advice on all

  technical & quality matters

  pertaining to the manufacturing process to

  maximize productivity of all Production operations

  and the achievement of set targets and for the growth of the business.
• To provide leadership and direction for the Technical Department and ensure the achievement of set Goals.
• To

  prepare a yearly budget for the departments and help review performance on a monthly basis

• To establish procedures for preparing the product and monitoring the quality & to control and review of no-conforming final product.

• To provide measurements for matrices and ensure and maintain product identification and traceability of product samples.

• Design & Development of

  new Machinery required for Re-treading process

• Design & Development of New PCTR matrices to meet the market needs and to provide improved performance.
• To continuously monitor the quality & problems related to the technical function to identify & diagnose issues, develop appropriate systems & strategies to ensure effective problem solving at the Branches.
• To monitor the Branch operations related to the process (Job Defects / claims etc.)
• To advise on

  machinery requirements & monitor the procurement of required machinery

• To ensure that Branch Managers comply with all factory technical requirements, maintain all technical records and on all technical issues connected with the organization.
• Responsible for ensuring effective co-ordination, proving timely guidance & support to the

  Production / QC / Tech. Training required for effective production operations

• To develop a cohesive management team and for the

  identification of training & development needs

  of subordinates

Preferred candidate profile

Ideal Candidate:

• BE Mechanical Graduates with around 12 to 15 years experience in Tyre manufacturing /

  Pre-Cured Tread Rubber

• Should have experience in maintenance of

  Hydraulic equipment, Compressors, Boilers, Pressure Vessels, utilities.

• Should have led a technical team maintenance, operations, production
• Should be experienced in Utility maintenance

• Should have good knowledge of PCTR /Tyre manufacturing machinery and its maintenance.

• Should have good experience in

  Design & Development of new Machinery required for Re-treading process

• Good team management experience

• Good knowledge of English, Tamil, Hindi

• Should be willing to travel to branches located in the southern states

• Max Budget 20 to 21 LPA

• Should be willing to work out of

  Chennai Location
