What success looks like in this role:
- Manages the efforts of assigned Delivery Management associates team members.
- Ensures team members follow established procedures and deliver exceptional client service across all aspects of delivery management, including:
- o Developing and updating adapting delivery related project plans, timelines and schedules,
- o Coordinating day-to-day project tasks,
- o Monitoring project progress and updating status reports,
- o Participating in client meetings, helping manage expectations and helping address emerging questions issues,
- o Working with internal product, technical and other teams to ensure issues are addressed and resolved in a timely and accurate fashion,
- o Providing accurate client status reports,
- o Representing clients to internal teams and service organizations.
- Engages with clients to exchange information, gather requirements and expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Serves as a key point of contact for process related questions or issues.
- Monitors team performance and outcomes, addressing and resolving competency and related issues. Works with any 3rd Party providers and sub-contractors to ensure the implementation of deliverables.
Agile Delivery & Ceremonies
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies : sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Own release management , coordinating dependencies, approvals, and production readiness.
- Maintain transparent delivery plans , sprint goals, velocity tracking, burndown/burnup charts, and impediment logs.
Backlog & Scope Management
- Partner with Product Owner(s) to shape and prioritize the backlog based on business value, risk, and technical constraints.
- Ensure well-formed user stories with clear acceptance criteria; drive Definition of Ready/Done and quality gates.
Technical Delivery Stewardship
- Demonstrate working knowledge of mobile app development (e.g., Flutter), RESTful APIs , CI/CD pipelines , and cloud services .
- Interpret architecture diagrams , identify dependencies , and facilitate alignment across engineering, QA, and DevOps.
- Collaborate on build and release pipelines , feature toggles, and environment strategies to improve deployment reliability.
Risk, Quality & Governance
- Proactively identify and manage delivery risks, issues, and assumptions , maintaining mitigation plans.
- Establish QA strategies with test leads: test plans, automation coverage, non-functional requirements, and defect triage.
- Drive continuous improvement via data (e.g., cycle time, lead time, escaped defects), retrospectives, and action followthrough.
Stakeholder & Communication
- Create clear, concise status updates and dashboards for business and technology stakeholders.
- Manage expectations, tradeoffs, and scope changes in line with priorities and capacity.
- Facilitate onshore/offshore collaboration across time zones, ensuring handover quality and shared understanding.
Tools & Ways of Working
- Champion effective use of Azure DevOps and/or Jira for planning, tracking, reporting, and release workflows.
- Uphold Agile best practices , coaching teams and stakeholders on Scrum, Kanban, and scaled frameworks as appropriate.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- 5-10 years of experience in Agile delivery and project management, including Scrum leadership.
- Proven track record leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, release management , and other ceremonies.
- Handson experience with Azure DevOps and/or Jira for endtoend delivery tracking.
- Technical understanding of mobile app concepts (e.g., Flutter ), APIs/integration , and CI/CD practices; ability to interpret architecture and system dependencies.
- Strong capability in delivery at pace , risk management , and issue resolution .
- Demonstrated stakeholder management , communication, and expectation setting aligned to business priorities.
- Experience working in an onshore/offshore (UK/India) delivery model.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Nice to Have
- Certifications: CSM/PSM , SAFe Agilist , PMIACP .
- Exposure to cloud platforms ( Azure , AWS , or GCP ) and mobile app store release processes.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and observability tooling (logs, metrics, tracing).
- Familiarity with Kanban , Lean , and value stream mapping .
