Agency Collection Manager

Designation: Agency Collection officer

Location: Gurugram

Experience: 5+ years

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement collection strategies to minimize bad debts.
• Manage day-to-day collection activities and track team performance against targets.
• Coordinate with legal and recovery teams for escalated/default cases.
• Monitor overdue accounts and initiate timely follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and company guidelines.
• Provide regular MIS reports and updates to senior management.
• Negotiate repayment plans and settlements with customers where required.
• Train, mentor, and supervise collection executives/agents.
• Build strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth collection flow.
• Coordinate with internal departments (sales, finance, legal) for better resolution of cases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+years of experience in collections/recovery (preferably in NBFC, Banking, or Fintech).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM/collection management software.
• Knowledge of relevant laws (e.g., SARFAESI, RBI recovery guidelines) is an added advantage.
