Job Description

As the Aftermarket Manager, you will be responsible for customer technical question, and coordination and supervision of activities for Critical Flow India Products and services in the assigned region/with the assigned customers with limited direction and oversight. This includes developing relationships with technical teams at customer sites and managing Field service activities during and between turnaround events. 

Principal Activities:

You will

·        Install, repair, and finalize all settings on Valves, HPUs and actuators on all assigned field service projects

·        Lead and coordinate a team of field service engineers, technicians and contractors

·        Effectively manage tools, tackles, manpower, materials, logistics and their related certifications

·        Manage service schedules, project timelines, and project resource allocation

·        Serve as the primary point of contact for refinery clients during projects and as assigned

·        Develop and maintain SOPs for valve servicing and installation

·        Monitor service quality, resolve escalated issues, and ensure customer satisfaction

·        Collaborate with sales, design, and QA teams to address field performance and client feedback

·        Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on valves and related control systems on-site

·        Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and valve datasheets

·        Provide technical support to customers during shutdowns, turnarounds, and outages

·        Generate service reports, maintenance logs, method statements, and risk assessments and provide feedback to engineering teams

·        Ensure compliance with safety and environmental protocols during all field operations.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

You Have:

·        Knowledge of oil & gas and working in refineries and their industry and related processes

·        Advance knowledge of Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) and Delayed Coking Unit (DCU) processes also including metallurgy, welding, refractory, mechanical and basic electrical knowledge

·        Evidence of working in a high standard safety environment

·        Familiarity with API, ANSI, and ASME standards

·        Knowledge of actuator systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric)

·        Proficiency in troubleshooting valve internals and automation systems

·        Ability to work independently, multi-task, and work effectively under pressure

·        Ability to stay composed with customers while working in stressful circumstances to maintain customer confidence and keep projects on track

·        Ability to read and interpret drawings and work with other installation instruments

·        Ability to compile and interpret data to prepare detailed reports

·        Ability to travel extensively (60+% of the time), manage timely expense reporting, obtain and maintain a valid passport as applicable to assigned projects, and organize and set travel plans for approval

Education & Experience

·        Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience required

·        10+ years of trouble shooting hydraulic power unites, valves and actuators preferred

·        Experience managing on-site project teams a plus, preferably in the oil and gas industry or similar industry

Experience reading specification of hydraulic schematics, valves, and actuators
