Job Description

The Head of Aftermarket & System Integration Sales will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction for the company's automotive electronics portfolio in the aftermarket segment. This leadership position necessitates a profound comprehension of B2B and B2C channels, distribution networks, and service support within the Indian and/or international automotive aftermarket ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the aftermarket sales strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives. You will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, channels, and markets for automotive electronics products such as telematics devices, infotainment systems, ADAS, and sensors. Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements will be essential for steering product positioning and channel strategies. Your duties will also include building and managing a robust distributor and dealer network, enhancing channel productivity through training and incentives, and identifying new retail and B2B channel partners. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual aftermarket sales targets, leading pricing decisions, and driving market penetration in various cities and rural areas will be key aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will need to focus on post-sale customer support, leading programs for customer retention, feedback collection, and warranty support. Collaborating with R&D and Product teams to provide feedback on aftermarket trends and customer insights, as well as coordinating with the supply chain and production teams to ensure timely availability of SKUs, will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. You should have 12-18 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in aftermarket sales within the automotive or electronics sector. Demonstrated success in managing pan-India sales operations and distributor networks is crucial. Key skills for this role include strong leadership and people management abilities, a deep understanding of automotive electronics, familiarity with digital tools for sales reporting and CRM, and excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. A preferred background in the automotive aftermarket, auto components, auto accessories, or consumer electronics with automotive applications would be advantageous.,
