Job Summary -
The Senior Associate will be part of our Application Evolution Services (AES) team under Managed Services, focusing on helping clients optimize SAP systems with a specialization in SAP FSCD (SAP Financial Services Collections and Disbursements) and SAP FPSL Modules. This role requires strong expertise in a financial services context, especially for Insurance Companies.The role require blend of functional and technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, providing user support and potentially contributing to smaller enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for SAP FSCD and FPSL, with a strong understanding of financial services processes related to collections and disbursements and FPSL module
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the SAP FSCD and FPSL module, including functionalities, configuration, and integration with other SAP modules.
- Managing financial transactions like billing, payments, and collections.
- Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Work effectively within a team and collaborate with various teams to achieve common goals.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define business processes, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover tasks, and deployment,
- Create test cases, conduct system testing, and ensure the quality of solutions.
- Analyze business requirements, identify potential solutions, and assess the impact of changes.
- Assist with minor configuration changes and customize the system to meet specific business needs.
- Work closely with Source Admin teams to ensure seamless integration and process optimization.
- Educate client teams, lead training sessions, and create relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with change processes and participate in change management activities.
- Implement small changes or enhancements to the FSCD system, including testing and user acceptance.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide guidance and training to end-users.
Along With The Above, Candidate Should Have
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in SAP FSCD and/or SAP FPSL Module
- Willingness to work the second shift (2pm IST to 11pm IST) to support US-based clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders
- Possess working knowledge of integration with other modules (MM, FICO-AP modules with VIM integration).
- Understanding of financial instruments and accounting standards (IFRS 9, IFRS 17, US GAAP).
- Posses sound knowledge on Broker Accounting, Co-Insurance Business.
