ADO Engineer

.In this role, you will play a key part in designing, managing, and optimizing Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines to support the full software development lifecycle. You will contribute to automating application deployments, ensuring security compliance, and maintaining configuration standards across multiple cloud environments. The position offers the opportunity to work with diverse source control platforms, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement best practices in cloud deployment and virtualization. Your work will directly impact software quality, operational efficiency, and the scalability of enterprise solutions. This is a fully remote role, providing flexibility while working on long-term, high-impact projects.
Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for application deployments, security compliance audits, and configuration management
- Author playbooks to standardize deployment, auditing, and configuration practices
- Manage source code repositories across platforms like GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, and AWS CodeDeploy, handling multiple branches and complex merge workflows
- Leverage Ansible Galaxy and community roles for configuration automation
- Support end-to-end software lifecycle management, including build automation, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pipeline efficiency, reliability, and scalability
- Implement best practices for cloud and virtualized environments across AWS and IBM Bluemix
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps pipeline development and management
- 8+ years of experience with source control management and repository handling across platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, and AWS CodeDeploy
- Proven experience with end-to-end software lifecycle management, including build, deployment, and monitoring
- Familiarity with Ansible Galaxy and leveraging community roles for configuration management
- 8+ years of experience with AWS public cloud; 2+ years with IBM Bluemix or other private cloud environments
- Strong scripting and automation skills, with a focus on improving deployment efficiency
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
