Role Overview

Admissions Coordinator


Key Responsibilities

Admissions Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate and schedule: Counselling calls; Follow-up discussions; Meetings with applicants and parents
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication with: Prospective applicants; Applicants who have received offers; Students who have confirmed admission
  • Act as a communication bridge between: Admissions counsellors; Faculty; Applicants and enrolled students
  • Maintain proper records and updates in the CRM system


Engagement & Event Support

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage student engagement initiatives, such as: Webinars; Virtual information sessions; Orientation and pre-joining interactions
  • Handle logistics for online/offline events: Invitations; Scheduling; Follow-ups and feedback collection


Administrative Support

  • Track application status, follow-ups, and response timelines
  • Support the admissions team with documentation coordination
  • Ensure adherence to admissions processes and timelines
  • Assist in improving communication workflows and applicant experience


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with students, parents, and internal teams
  • Proficiency in: MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems (preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up systematically


Preferred Profile

  • Prior experience in: Admissions; Academic administration; Education counselling; Coordination or support roles
  • Experience organizing webinars or engagement events
  • Candidates who are detail-oriented, calm, and process-driven
  • Strong follow-through and people-handling ability
