Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and verify incoming vendor invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies or issues with vendors and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure proper matching of invoices and purchase orders.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors through various payment methods
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vendor invoices, payments, and related documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable for management review.
• Liaise with vendors to address inquiries, resolve payment-related concerns, and maintain a positive professional relationship.
• Participate in periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance within the accounts payable function.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in accounts payable, finance, or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and accounts payable procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g: Tally)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, invoice processing, and financial transactions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
• Problem-solving aptitude and proactive attitude toward addressing issues.
• Knowledge of the food industry and experience working with corporate vendors is a plus.
