Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer About Us: Invictus Engineers is a fast-growing company committed to operational excellence and financial integrity. As we scale our business operations, we are looking to strengthen our finance team by hiring a meticulous and reliable Accounts Payable Officer . Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to manage the company’s payables process accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities: Process invoices accurately, matching them with purchase orders and receipts. Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments (NEFT, RTGS, etc.). Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and within terms. Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting. Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve any payment-related issues. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards. Support the Finance Manager and team in ad-hoc projects and audits as required. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience (2-5 years) as an Accounts Payable Officer / Executive / Accountant . Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles. Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems). Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or related field. Professional certifications (CA-Inter, CMA-Inter, or equivalent) — an advantage but not mandatory.
