Position Overview The Accounts Payable Executive will be responsible for managing and executing all vendor payment processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement. This role demands a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting acumen and the ability to coordinate with internal departments and external vendors. Key Responsibilities Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy in invoice coding, approvals, and supporting documentation. Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts on a regular basis. Prepare payment proposals and ensure timely release of payments as per the credit terms. Handle petty cash and employee reimbursement claims in line with company policies. Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to resolve invoice discrepancies. Ensure TDS, GST, and other statutory deductions are accurately applied. Maintain vendor ledgers and prepare accounts payable reports for management review. Support monthly and annual closing activities by providing necessary AP data. Liaise with auditors during internal and statutory audits. Ensure adherence to company financial policies and internal controls. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes. Working knowledge of TDS, GST, and vendor reconciliation. Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills. Good communication and coordination skills. Qualifications & Experience Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting (preferably in FMCG, Healthcare, or E-commerce industry).
