Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations using Zoho Books, Xero, and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts in Zoho Books / Xero / QuickBooks.
  • Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

2. Invoicing & Billing

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices.
  • Track billing cycles, follow up on overdue payments.
  • Record vendor bills and ensure timely payments.

3. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation

  • Perform monthly bank, credit card, and ledger reconciliations.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.

4. Financial Reporting

  • Generate and analyze financial statements such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports.
  • Provide data support for audits and compliance reviews.

5. Taxation & Compliance

  • Assist in GST/VAT returns, TDS filings, payroll compliance (as applicable).
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax filings.

6. Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with sales, procurement, and operations teams for accounting data.
  • Work with external auditors and financial consultants.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Xero, and/or QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing multi-currency and multi-entity accounting.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and inventory accounting.
  • Certification in Zoho Books, Xero, or QuickBooks (added advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
