Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Accounts Officer to join our team in an on-site capacity at our Pune location. The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing Accounting Data entry – Sales, Purchase, Bank, Cash, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliation Statement, Basic Principle of Accounts, Knowledge of Depreciation, Payable Management, Receivable Management, Accounting of Customer TDS receipt, etc. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of financial processes.

Qualifications

• Min. Qualification required: Commerce Graduate.
• Experience Required: Fresher / 1-2 Year Experience
• Statutory Knowledge required:

i. Knowledge of GST (GSTR1, 3B, GSTR2B RECO) & Compliances

ii. Knowledge of TDS

iii. Employee related Statutory Compliance i.e PF, PT, ESIC

• Proficiency in preparing and managing financial statements and an understanding of financial operations.
• Strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in finance to support data-driven decision-making.
• Effective customer service skills to address account inquiries and maintain positive client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; relevant certification is a plus (e.g., CPA or CMA).
• Prior experience in financial roles, especially within the power industry, is advantageous.
