Accounts Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing the accounting team, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including:
• General ledger
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Bank reconciliations
• Payroll
• Tax compliance
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
• Monitor and manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as needed.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CA certification is a plus).
• Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations, financial statements, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
