Accounts Manager [Logistics Industry]

Position: Accounts Manager

Location: Ahmedabad

Industry: Logistics / Shipping / Freight Forwarding

Salary Range: ₹7 – 8 LPA

Qualification: Inter CA / CA

Experience: 5–7 years in accounting leadership roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR 9, E-Way Bills) and ensure TDS/TCS compliance.

• Manage accounts finalization, vendor reconciliation, and accounts payable/receivable.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and verify financial transaction accuracy. Do Bank Liasioning wherever needed.

• Prepare audit schedules, support statutory audits, and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Monitor statutory filings and tax payments on time.

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 accountants for smooth finance operations.

• Develop and implement accounting policies, SOPs, and internal control systems.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, income tax, and statutory compliance.

• Experience in handling company accounts at Senior level till finalisation & statutory Audit of accounts (preferred).

• Proficient in accounting software (Tally ERP) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
