Job Summary

Derik Motors Pvt Ltd is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee dealership accounting operations across multiple locations. The role involves managing day-to-day accounts, statutory compliance, financial reporting, audits, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience in the automobile or retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including cash, bank, and ledger entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Ensure timely GST filing, TDS compliance, and statutory returns
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks
• Monitor expenses, budgets, and cost control measures
• Maintain accurate financial records as per company and statutory standards
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations

Required Skills & Competencies

• Accounting and financial management
• GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Finalization of accounts
• MIS reporting and financial analysis
• Bank reconciliation and cash flow management
• Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, ERP, or equivalent)
• MS Excel proficiency
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred
• Minimum 5 – 10 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Experience in automobile dealership, retail, or multi-branch operations is an advantage
• Practical knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Ability to manage accounts for multiple locations
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle audits independently
• Knowledge of Tamil / Malayalam is an added advantage
