Accounts Manager

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & ReportingOversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).Ensure accuracy of financial data, transaction entries, and MIS reports for management.Budgeting & ForecastingLead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises.Analyze variances, risks, and opportunities to support business decision-making.Partner with department heads to monitor financial performance and optimize costs.Statutory Compliance & TaxationEnsure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESIC, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements applicable in Maharashtra.Coordinate with external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement compliance processes.Payroll & Vendor ManagementOversee payroll processing in coordination with HR, ensuring accuracy in salary payouts, statutory deductions, and employee benefits.Manage vendor accounts, including contract terms, payment cycles, and ledger reconciliations.Process Improvement & Internal ControlsImplement robust internal controls around accounting, procurement, and asset management.Drive automation and efficiency initiatives using accounting and ERP tools.Support implementation and maintenance of financial systems/tools.Cash Flow & Treasury ManagementMonitor and manage day-to-day cash flows and fund requirements.Optimize banking operations and maintain relationships with financial institutions.Work Experience6–10 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in an IT/ITES or technology-driven company.
