About the Role

SMARTIX is seeking a well-experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Incharge to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complete accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with statutory regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, expertise in TallyPrime, and the ability to independently handle end-to-end accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using TallyPrime, including ledger entries, journal postings, and adjustments.
• Oversee bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate MIS reports, sales and expense analysis, and other financial insights required by management.
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, statutory guidelines, and timely filing of returns.
• Coordinate with the Finance Manager/Director for budgeting, audits, and financial planning.
• Liaise with internal departments, external vendors, and auditors to maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls to reduce discrepancies and maintain data integrity.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Advanced expertise in TallyPrime for daily operations, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Proven ability to prepare and finalize accounts independently.
• Proficiency in VAT filing, invoicing, documentation, and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong command of English (written and verbal).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 1– 3years of experience in a similar role.
