Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Production Supervisor to manage the daily operations of our engineering and fabrication workshop. This role will involve coordinating factory activities and head office coordination to ensure efficient production, high-quality standards, and alignment of all engineering team with structured workflows. The Production Supervisor will oversee fabrication, machining of materials, and adherence to quality and delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Supervision: Plan, schedule, and monitor all production activities, including fabrication and machining processes. Allocate manpower and resources effectively to meet production targets. Ensure timely execution of job orders and project deadlines. Machining & Fabrication Oversight: Supervise machining operations on metals and other materials as per specifications. Review drawings, work instructions, and material requirements for each job. Inspect machining setups and finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality. Quality & Process Management: Implement and enforce quality standards across all stages of production. Conduct in-process checks and final inspections to maintain product quality. Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and operational procedures. Team Coordination & Training: Communicate daily work plans, priorities, and expectations to production staff. Train and guide legacy employees to adopt planned work schedules and improved processes. Foster a disciplined, accountable work environment. Reporting & Coordination: Coordinate with office staff for production planning, inventory updates, and delivery commitments. Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, and quality checks. Provide regular updates to management on production status, challenges, and improvements. Requirements: Proven experience in a production supervisor role in an engineering, machining, or fabrication environment. Strong understanding of machining operations, fabrication methods, and quality standards. Good leadership, communication, and people management skills. Ability to coordinate effectively between shop-floor teams and office operations. Organized, methodical approach to production planning and follow-up.
