Role Summary

The Junior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities for a tile and interior solutions business, including showroom billing, vendor payments, project-based accounting, and coordination with architects/interior designers for account-related queries.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries related to tile sales, showroom billing, project orders, and vendor invoices.

• Handle purchase, sales, and inventory-related entries in Tally/ERP specific to tiles and sanitary ware.

• Process client payments, architect commission entries, and follow-ups.

• Prepare and maintain GRN, delivery challans, stock statements, and track material movement.

• Assist in project cost tracking and contractor/architect payment reconciliation.

• Manage GST, TDS data preparation, and coordinate with CA for compliance.

• Perform bank reconciliation, vendor/architect reconciliation, and maintain accurate ledgers.

• Assist senior accountant in MIS reports, audit documentation, and credit control.

• Maintain proper filing of invoices, client PO, architect orders, and showroom documents.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Com / M.Com / Equivalent degree.

• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in tiles, sanitary ware, architecture, interiors, or building materials industry.

• Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP, GST, TDS, and inventory accounting.

• Good command over Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, Basic formulas).

• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with fast-paced project and showroom operations.

Good communication skills to coordinate with architects, vendors, and showroom staff.
