Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of Odoo ERP software to handle day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting operations within the Odoo platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions through Odoo ERP including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger, trial balance, and financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations, vendor and customer account reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate tax calculations (GST, TDS, etc.) and filing of returns as per statutory deadlines.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements.
• Assist in monthly closing, profit & loss statements, and balance sheet preparation.
• Generate and analyze financial reports from Odoo for management review.
• Support audit requirements and maintain proper documentation.
• Monitor and improve Odoo accounting workflows and coordinate with the IT/Odoo team for system updates or process automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / M.Com / MBA preferred).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year using Odoo ERP.
• Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting principles.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Odoo customization or reporting modules.
• Knowledge of inventory and costing modules in Odoo.
• Experience in manufacturing or trading industries is an added advantage.

Salary: Based on experience and industry standards
