Position Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial operations, preparing accurate reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting management with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely settlements.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary filings.
• Work with auditors and provide required documentation.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and company information.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA is a plus).
• Proven experience (2–5 years) as an Accountant, Finance Officer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
