About VV Gems:

VV Gems is a reputed diamond and jewelry manufacturing and export company based in Surat. We serve clients globally, including India and the United States, with precision, transparency, and trust.

We are hiring two skilled Accountants who have experience in both Indian and U.S. accounting practices, including tax filing, entries, and export-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations — sales entry, purchase entry, expense entry, and journal postings.
• Handle GST, TDS, and income tax compliance for Indian operations.
• Support with U.S. accounting work including sales tax, invoice reconciliation, and tax documentation.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports for management and auditors.
• Manage vendor bills, payments, and petty cash records.
• Maintain books of accounts in Tally ERP and assist in data migration or integration with CRM tools.
• Reconcile bank accounts, export bills, and international payment entries.
• Coordinate with auditors for both Indian and overseas tax reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in diamond, jewelry, or export industry).
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Strong understanding of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and U.S. sales tax concepts.
• Ability to handle multi-currency transactions and export documentation.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with QuickBooks or Zoho Books (for U.S. accounting).
• Experience in export/import billing and E-commerce transaction accounting (Shopify, IndiaMART, etc.).
• Knowledge of reconciliation for PayPal, Stripe, or Razorpay payments.
