Accountant

Experience: 1–4 Years Location: Indore Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and MIS preparation while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling data, preparing reports, and supporting management with accurate financial insights. Key Responsibilities Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Generate and maintain MIS reports (revenue, expenses, profitability, variance analysis) Provide financial insights and analysis to management for decision-making Handle accounts payable and receivable Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings Assist in internal and external audits and provide required documentation Monitor costs, budgets, and cash flow Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity and confidentiality Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent Hands-on experience with MIS preparation and analysis Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.) Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter Experience in financial reporting, MIS, and statutory compliance Exposure to budgeting and forecasting Benefits Competitive salary package Growth and learning opportunities Supportive and professional work environment
