Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Nagpur for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Daily tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and conducting periodic financial audits. The Accountant will also prepare reports, assist with budget preparations, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
Experience in financial record maintenance, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation
Knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional accounting certification (such as tally) is a plus
Previous experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is beneficial
