- Maintaining accurate and organised financial records using accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Excel, and bookkeeping)
- Recording daily financial transactions, invoices, expenses, and payments
- Preparing and reconciling bank statements and GL accounts
- Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Preparing monthly/quarterly financial reports and statements
- Ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations
- Conducting internal audits and identifying discrepancies
- Supporting external auditors during annual audit processes
- Managing petty cash and maintaining financial documentation
- Assisting in budgeting and financial forecasting
- Providing support to the senior accounting team on ad-hoc financial projects
- Ensuring timely filing of statutory compliances and tax returns
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field (mandatory)
- CA/CMA in progress or completed is a plus, but not mandatory
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience
- Experience in GST/tax compliance is preferred
- Familiarity with Indian tax and accounting standards
- Proficiency in Tally ERP or QuickBooks (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Accounting software experience (billing/invoice management)
- Basic understanding of financial statements and balance sheets
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling financial data
- Own transportation for office visits
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools/systems
