Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, tax compliance, and financial analysis while maintaining adherence to accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor and client payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax).
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and coordinate with banks for payments and reconciliations.
• Identify process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
• Experience: 2–5 years in accounting or finance roles.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
