Senior Design head

About the Role:

Silvano Interiors is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Design Head to lead and manage our design division comprising 3D Designers, 2D Draftsmen, and Quantity Survey (QS) professionals. The ideal candidate will oversee the end-to-end design process, ensuring timely project completion, design accuracy, and seamless coordination between design, production, and project teams.

This is a leadership role that requires a balance of creativity, technical expertise, and management skills to deliver high-quality interior projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide the 3D Design, 2D Drawing, and Quantity Survey teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Review and approve design concepts, layouts, and working drawings before client presentation or production release.
• Maintain quality control standards and ensure design deliverables align with client requirements and company policies.
• Plan and allocate design team tasks based on project priority and deadlines.
• Coordinate closely with the Operations and Production teams to ensure smooth transition from design to execution.
• Monitor project timelines, identify bottlenecks, and drive timely completion of all deliverables.
• Conduct regular design review meetings and progress updates with the team.
• Guide team members in resolving technical or creative design challenges.
• Assist in client presentations, revisions, and final design approvals when required.
• Foster a collaborative work environment and mentor junior team members for professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in design software such as Cohoom, kujaila, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, and similar tools.
• Strong understanding of materials, joinery, and production drawings.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and a passion for design excellence.
