Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong financial knowledge and preferably SAP experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting cost-control measures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory accounting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Process payroll and ensure timely statutory payments (TDS, GST, PF, ESIC, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
• Utilize SAP (preferred) or other ERP systems for accounting entries and reporting.
• Support internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter/CMA preferred).
• 4-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, cost accounting, and taxation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• SAP knowledge is a strong plus.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under deadlines with minimal supervision.
