Accountant

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliances, and payroll functions. The role requires strong expertise in GST return preparation and filing, PF, ESI, TDS, TCS, and payroll processing, while ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts, including general ledger and journal entries
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow on a regular basis
• Prepare, review, and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and conduct GSTR-2B reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations and address discrepancies or notices, if any
• Process payroll and ensure timely salary disbursement
• Handle PF, ESI, TDS, and TCS computations, deductions, deposits, and statutory filings
• Prepare and submit TDS/TCS returns and generate Form 16 and Form 16A
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory, regulatory, and internal control requirements
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide necessary documentation
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decision-making

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance
• Strong working knowledge of GST return preparation and filing, PF, TDS, TCS, ESI, and payroll
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience handling GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
