This role is responsible for managing day to day accounting work of the company. The goal is to ensure accurate books, timely entries, clean records, and proper tax handling. This person handles numbers. Not HR. Not documentation. Not compliance paperwork.
Maintain accurate books in Zoho Books with all entries updated on time
Handle invoices, credit notes, purchase bills and vendor bills
Manage accounts receivable and payable
Follow up on pending payments with a proper tracker
Reconcile bank statements, payments, UPI statements and vendor ledgers
Manage GST entries and coordinate monthly or quarterly filings
Manage TDS entries and ensure correct deductions
Share required data with CA or compliance team on time
Keep records ready for audit at any point
Take payroll inputs from HR or compliance data
Prepare payroll calculation and coordinate with bank for payments
Record salary and reimbursement transactions accurately
Prepare monthly financial reports for management (basic MIS)
Highlight overdue payments, vendor dues or financial risks
Support management with numbers for decision making
Share clean data with finance or compliance team for budgets
2 to 5 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and basic statutory rules
Good experience with Zoho Books or similar tools like Tally or QuickBooks
Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic reporting
Clear communication and responsibility ownership
