Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the accounting and financial operations of a group of institutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing consolidated financial reporting, inter-company transactions, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work across multiple entities within the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Consolidation:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the group.
• Ensure accurate and timely closing of financial records for all entities.
• Coordinate and reconcile inter-company transactions and balances.
• General Ledger & Accounting Oversight:
• Maintain and review general ledger accounts across the institutions.
• Oversee journal entries, accruals, and other financial adjustments.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Support the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasting.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and prepare variance analysis reports.
• Compliance & Audit:
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory filings and tax returns.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for process improvement and automation within the accounting function.
• Support implementation of accounting systems or ERP upgrades.
• Team Leadership & Coordination:
• Guide and mentor junior accounting staff across the institutions.
• Collaborate with administrative and operational teams to support financial decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or group organization.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
