Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant based in Greater Noida within the Finance / Accounts department, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ledgers, and reports. Your key responsibilities will include reconciling bank statements, monitoring daily cash flow, supporting in preparing financial reports, assisting with budget tracking and financial forecasting, managing petty cash and staff reimbursements, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and statutory requirements, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors, and maintaining up-to-date financial documentation. To excel in this role, you should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is essential, along with proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, and MS Excel. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, good communication, and interpersonal skills are also required. Additionally, the ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial. Preferred attributes for this role include familiarity with educational fee structures and reporting requirements, experience in handling audits and financial compliance in institutions, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data. The working hours for this position are Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a salary range commensurate with experience.
