Accountant

Profile

· Bachelor of Commerce with 4 to 5 years of accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Auditing and Banking principles including GST, TDS, Payments, Invoicing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reporting, Salary processing, Bank Reconciliation, Ledger maintenance
• Proficient in MS Office, Tally and other relevant software
• Independent role; Must demonstrate strong ethical conduct

Roles & responsibilities

Bookkeeping and Financial Management:

· Daily Transactions: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions including sales, invoicing, purchases, receipts, and payments.

· Account Management: Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collection and payment processes.

· Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

· Handle daily accounting tasks such as data entry, processing invoices, and recording
transactions.

· Maintain and monitor periodic MIS reports, as required

Tax Compliance and Filing:

· GST and Income Tax Laws: Possess comprehensive knowledge of GST and Income Tax laws, with specific expertise in returns filing.

· Tax Returns: Independently prepare and file GST, TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and TCS (Tax Collected at Source) returns in a timely and accurate manner.

· Provident Fund, ESI and professional tax filing

· Tax Planning: Assist in tax planning and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.

Financial Reporting:

· Balance Sheets: Independently prepare balance sheets for partnership firms and private limited companies, ensuring they reflect an accurate financial position.

· Financial Statements: Prepare profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports as required.

· Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Regulatory Compliance:

· Ensure overall compliance with all statutory requirements and financial regulations.
