Job Description

Job Title: Accountant Job Type: [Full-Time] Reports To: Accounting Manager/Controller Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights to support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP. Oversee the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and collections. Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and balance sheet accounts. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and reports. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for strategic planning. Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support operational needs. Perform any other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred). years of experience in accounting or finance. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
