Job Description

. Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally/ERP or relevant accounting software. Record all financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Prepare and maintain ledgers, trial balance, profit & loss account, and balance sheet. 2. Import–Export Documentation & Finance Handle documentation related to imports and exports (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, shipping documents). Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and banks for export/import-related financial settlements. Maintain records of foreign currency transactions, advances, and realizations. Assist in processing letters of credit (LC), bank guarantees, and export incentives (e.g., RoDTEP, duty drawback). 3. Taxation & Compliance Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements. File GST returns, TDS returns, and assist with annual audits. Maintain compliance for FEMA and RBI guidelines related to foreign trade transactions. 4. Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Track receivables/payables and reconcile accounts with overseas clients and suppliers. Assist management with cost analysis, forex fluctuations, and profitability reports. 5. Banking & Treasury Manage import/export payments, remittances, and bank reconciliations. Monitor working capital, overdrafts, and credit facilities. Coordinate with banks for packing credit, export finance, and bill discounting.
