Job Description

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management review and regulatory compliance.
Cost Management:Track and manage all costs related to construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead, to ensure projects stay within budget.
Budgeting and Forecasting:Collaborate with project managers to develop and monitor project budgets, forecast cash flow, and provide financial insights for decision-making.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:Process invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders, manage subcontractor payments, and ensure timely billings.
Compliance & Auditing:Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws (like GST and TDS), and contractual terms for subcontractors.
Financial Analysis:Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities to improve profitability.
Vendor and Contract Management:Oversee the financial aspects of vendor and subcontractor contracts, review bills for accuracy, and resolve payment disputes.

Qualifications

Education:A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential.
Experience:A minimum of a few years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction or project sector, is often required.
Skills:
Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong organizational Scheme

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
