Job Description

As a Reservation and Guest Services Agent, your primary responsibility will involve managing hotel room reservations and addressing guest inquiries over the phone. You will be tasked with checking room availability, providing accurate pricing information, and handling cancellations or modifications to existing reservations. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in answering questions about hotel facilities, amenities, and local attractions, as well as addressing any guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner. In your role, you will also be involved in sales and upselling activities, where you will promote special offers, packages, and loyalty programs to maximize revenue. Upselling room upgrades and additional services based on guest needs will be an essential part of your duties, along with identifying potential sales leads and transferring them to the appropriate department. Maintaining a high level of customer service is paramount in this position. You will need to uphold a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions, build rapport with potential and existing guests, and ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries promptly and efficiently. Furthermore, accurate data management is essential, including recording guest details, reservation information, and call logs in the CRM system, as well as updating customer information to maintain a clean database. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to guests. A strong customer service focus, patience, and empathy in handling diverse inquiries are key attributes. Sales aptitude is also crucial, as you will be required to confidently promote hotel packages and upsell services. Knowledge of the hospitality industry, including hotel operations, room types, and amenities, is beneficial, as well as proficiency in using reservation systems and CRM software. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, provided food, and Provident Fund. The work schedule may include day shifts, morning shifts, and rotational shifts. A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role, along with a minimum of 5 years of total work experience, particularly in sales. Proficiency in Hindi and English is required, and the work location is in person.
