The Accountant is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. This role provides financial analysis, prepares detailed reports, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations and insights.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile key balance sheet items.

Accounting Operations

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, and bank reconciliations as needed.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS (depending on organization).

Compliance & Controls

Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and internal controls.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.

Team Leadership

Mentor, train, and support junior accountants and accounting assistants.
Review and approve work completed by junior team members.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and support decision-making.

Other Duties

Assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting.
Participate in system upgrades or ERP implementations.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.

Pay: ₹15,086.00 - ₹30,068.41 per month
