Account Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate– Accounts to support our financial operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, etc.)

* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

* Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

* Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, etc.)

* Assist with internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors.

* Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and inter-company accounts.

* Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.

* Review and ensure accuracy of accounting entries and financial records

Key Skills & Competencies:

* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).

* Experience in web ERP software like zoho and quick books⁠ is mandatory.

* Preparation of MIS report for account payable receivable.⁠ ⁠

* Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar.

* Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).

* Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.

* High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com).

* Professional qualification like MBA (Finance) is preferred.

* 4 -7years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
