Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain day-to-day accounting entries such as journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Handle GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings and ensure timely compliance.
Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures.
Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and vendor/supplier balances.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and other departments to resolve financial discrepancies.
Maintain and update fixed asset registers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, etc.)
2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
Good knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS) and statutory compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in manufacturing, service, or trading sectors (as applicable).
Knowledge of MS Excel and other financial tools for reporting and analysis.
Working knowledge of payroll accounting and employee reimbursements.
