Position: Director-US Accounts Company: MYCPE ONE Location: Any of the MYCPE One Branches Shift: 5 PM IST-2 AM IST Work Model: Work From Office Profile Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director – US Accounting (Practice Lead) to lead and grow our US accounting practice. This strategic role demands deep technical expertise in US GAAP, taxation, and accounting operations, as well as proven leadership in managing teams, clients, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of experience in US accounting, including significant exposure to public accounting and a strong focus on client relationship management and process optimisation. Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage the US Accounting practice, ensuring service excellence and technical accuracy. Review and supervise preparation of US corporate and personal tax returns with high technical precision. Develop, implement, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for process consistency and quality control. Provide strategic financial advice and insights to clients, enhancing their financial health and business outcomes. Act as an advocate and escalation point for team concerns, ensuring employee engagement and resolution of issues. Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional development and maintaining high-performance standards. Drive initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and identify opportunities for account growth and cross-service offerings. Monitor budget adherence, optimize resource allocation, and ensure financial efficiency across operations. Implement and promote the use of modern accounting tools and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy. Lead teams through organizational change, ensuring seamless transitions and positive outcomes. Prioritize and manage multiple client and internal deadlines effectively, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Job Requirements: 10+ years of experience in US Accounting; CPA certification preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Public Accounting firm (India-based experience acceptable). Strong expertise in US tax laws, accounting principles, and compliance requirements. Demonstrated experience in client relationship management and strategic advisory. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Proven ability to drive process improvements and adopt accounting technologies. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management capabilities. Ability to handle ambiguity and lead teams through change and transformation. Show more Show less
